Hey Dolls!
It's been a while since my last review, so now i'm finally back!:) Today I am going to make a review on Mac's Mineralize SkinFinish Natural in Medium Plus. :)
What Mac Cosmetics says about their product :
"A luxurious domed face powder with minerals, slowly baked to provide a dimensional yet natural-matte finish. Provides perfect low coverage. Use to set and fix foundation or as a touch-up throughout the day. " And also, you get 10 g/ 0.35 US oz of Product for 29$ and i believe they have 9 shades for this.
Here are some swatches :
See how it magically disappears on my skin? :) i think it's just perfect for my skin tone. I'm glad I picked the right shade knowing how difficult it is to find the correct shade for you especially when you're buying online.
This is just a comparison of swatches from Mac Mineralize Skin Finish and Fanny Serrano's Two Way Cake in Organza :) They almost look the same right? But in this case Mac just looks and feels more finer and as you can see on this swatch it looks more velvety. oh and btw, I have not made a review about Fanny Serrano's Two way cake yet, but i can say that it also an awesome powder foundation :p
Wrap Up:
WHAT I LOVE:
- The Packaging looks sleek and handy
- Feels lightweight.
- Perfect for days when you want to go out of the house and you don't really feel like putting a lot of makeup.
- Doesn't feel cakey
- Evens out my skin tone
- No Breakouts (yet. but i will definitely update this in case i experience breakouts )
- Doesn't oxidize on me.
- Works well in setting my Liquid Foundation and BB creams.
WHAT I DON'T LOVE
- It would have been nicer if they placed a small mirror on the packaging :)
- It doesn't really keep my oilies at bay. but it lasts for about 4-5 hours before i need retouch. which is actually not a bad thing for me :p
Will I repurchase this product?
YES, I am in love with this powder!
You'd love this product if you:
- Have good skin and you don't really need that much coverage.
- want a good powder to even out your skin tone
- Want a lightweight product that does its job
You'd hate this product if :
- You are on a tight budget! haha this powder is quite expensive. :| but rest assured, this is a very good product, and a very good investment because it's finely milled, baked, and packed, it will last you almost two years even if you use it every single day! :)
What are your thoughts about this product? What is your HG setting powder or powder foundation? Let me know what you think :)

great review! and good thing the shade fits you right :)
I just use johnson's face powder to set my own make up haha :) I've also tried Nichido's loose final powder, but it's not very good in preventing skin from oiling up :| would like to try other options though. the MAC mineralize sounds like a great product
great review! i agree with everything! although, sadly i have to retouch every 3-4 hours.. im reaaaallly really oily. ugh! i still love it nonetheless, just finished mine! <3

I don't regularly use powder but this one sounds really nice and great quality. I like finely milled powders that are quite soft and velvety in texture but also lightweight in coverage so this one sounds ideal :)
hey dear! im finally back! :)))
im not sure, but i think this powder is giving me breakouts :(
you have to try this one dear! it's really nice, but im having a couple of breakouts now, not sure if this powder is causing the problem :(

Definitely something I would continue using (and by the looks of it, it’s gonna take a long, long time before I hit pan). Just a little dusting with a makeup brush goes a long way in creating a natural highlight/ radiance to bring our your inner gorgeousness
